The Dermaflash 2.0 Luxe arrived in a little brown box, and it came just in time! My skin as of late has been in a slump because of a skin condition called melasma, which causes some discoloration around my eyes(see pic below). I also happen to have an allergic reaction on one of my eyelids, so please ignore that.

Anyway, the Dermaflash 2.0 was just what the doctor ordered for me and my hyperpigmentation! This amazing little device gets rid of dead skin cells, built up debris, and peach fuzz so if you’re trying to get to a new layer of skin, this is a godsend! If you are just trying to get rid of a little peach fuzz, it’s great for that too. Anyone’s skin can benefit from taking off a layer of dead skin cells really. When you use the Dermaflash 2.0, it’s important to pull your skin tight and keep the device at a 45 degree angle. It doesn’t hurt whatsoever, and you will see the little peach fuzz just fall off. My skin was silky smooth after I used the Dermaflash 2.0, and it created the perfect canvas to apply skincare or makeup!

It’s super easy to use. The 3 easy steps are:

1. Cleanse with Preflash cleanser, rinse, pat dry.

2. Pull skin tight and gently glide @dermaflash over your skin at a 45 degree angle.

3. Hydrate with Postflash moisturizer.

It comes with a directions booklet, but you can always consult the Dermaflash website- if you have any questions.

I love the Preflash cleanser. It makes your skin so squeaky clean! The Postflash moisturizer is very soothing and contains Yucca Glauca Root, ceramides, caffeine, and resveratrol. The blades are called an “Edge” are supposed to be discarded after one use. I recommend “flashing” only once a week so the 4 blades it comes with will last four weeks. You can buy a replacement set of the Edge blades, Preflash and Postflash for $28. Hopefully, after using this for a month my hyperpigmentation from melasma will decrease. I can’t wait to use the Dermaflash 2.0 again next week!

You can purchase the Dermaflash 2.0 at for $189.
